Course description:
The course is delivered in your workplace with training & assessor visits.

The course is made up of 5 mandatory units and 4 optional units chosen from a list of 12 units.

Mandatory units:
1. Contribute to an organisational framework that reflects the needs and protects the rights of children and young people
2. Develop and maintain a healthy and safe environment for children
3. Develop and promote positive relationships
4. Plan and support self-directed play
5. Reflect on and develop practice

Qualifications:
SVQ / NVQ Level 1/2/3 : A vocational qualification certificate will be issued by SQA on completion of the qualification.

Entry requirements:
Candidate must be working with children in a play environment.
