Course description:
The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) is an Internationally recognised qualification which enables people to demonstrate their competence in computer skills.
The syllabus is designed to cover the key concepts of computing, its practical applications and their use in the workplace and society. It is broken down into seven modules, each of which must be passed before an ECDL certificate is awarded.
The 7 modules are:
- IT Security Level 1
- IT User Fundamentals
- Word Processing
- Spreadsheets
- Database
- Presentation
- Web Browsing and Communication
The course is for the person who wishes to study at home with telephone support and only attend the training centre when sitting module assessments.
