Course description:
Included are 7 assessments covering basic principles and packages used within ICT. The length of the course is 14 weeks.

Qualifications:
National Unit : Scottish Qualification Authority national unit at Intermediate level 1 - Introduction to Computers

Entry requirements:
Any resident or employee of North Ayr SIP can register to sit this module which is accredited by SQA.
No previous ICT qualifications are needed to enrol on this course.

Other requirements:
Access to PC / ICT facilities. Access North Ayr is registered as an SQA accredited centre and provides training materials suitable.

One-to-one tutoring or class-based training can be arranged to suit individual needs.
Note - The course is delivered as a class one afternoon a week over (approx) 14 weeks.

Attendance Details: Overall the mode of study is as a class / tutorial group but flexible learning or one-to-one teaching is also an option for people unable to attend regular classes.
