Course description:
The course prepares learners for the CSCS Health & Safety Touch Screen Test.
The course includes the following:
- Accident prevention/reporting
- Other current relevant regulations
- Manual handling
- Working with electricity
- Hand held tools and equipment
- Noise and vibration
- Personal protective equipment
- Excavations and confined spaces
- Health and hygiene
- Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- Working at heights
- Underground services
- Safe use of vehicles
- Fire prevention
- C.O.S.H.H.
- First aid

: The CSCS card is an individual identification and registration card (similar to a credit card) which lasts for three or five years.
The CSCS card shows that the holder is considered to be competent at his or her job, lists any relevant certificates and also shows that the holder has undergone health and safety awareness training or testing.
Entry requirements:
There are no formal entry requirements but some previous knowledge and experience of Construction ia an advantage
