PC Passport - Intermediate

Course description:
PC Passport is a National Qualification and, as such, will be recognised by employers, training providers and admissions staff, and is part of the SCQF framework.

It is a flexible course delivered on three skill levels; beginner, intermediate and advanced. The beginner course is designed for absolute novice - no prior experience is needed. The intermediate is intended for more competent users and focuses on the key skills required for a work place. The advanced is for those whose experience of IT makes them comfortable with the technology.

Basic computer knowledge an advantage.

Access to PC / ICT facilities. The Centre is a registered as an SQA approved centre.

Access to Employment (A2E) exists to provide training, employment, childcare and improved access to opportunities.

A2E was accredited by Investors in People in February 2001 and along with being a SQA Accredited Centre, it became an ECDL Accredited Test Centre in December 2000.

Attendance details:
One tutor led class per week - course is run over 10 week period (approx). In addition to this is telephone and email support. Clients can book in and use the centre for self study between classes should they wish to do so. Training materials are also provided.
