Course description:
The course is delivered in your workplace with training and assessor visits. It consists of 6 mandatory and 5 optional units (chosen from a list of 12).

Mandatory Units:
1. Demonstrate a style of leadership that ensures an organisational culture of open & participatory management practice
2. Manage the development & direction of the provision
3. Manage a provision which actively promotes children's & young people's life chances
4. Develop & maintain an environment which safeguards & protects children & young people
5. Take responsibility for the continuing professional development of self & others
6. Promote & manage a quality provision

Qualifications:
SVQ / NVQ Level 4/5 : Vocational Qualification certificate issued by SQA on completion of course

Entry requirements:
Candidate must be working with children at a senior level
