Course description:
This course is suitable for anyone interested in learning the traditional and modern skills involved in Upholstery.
Led by an experienced practitioner, this course allows students to develop the basic skills of using the traditional magnetic tack hammer in addition to modern air powered tacking guns. Students will achieve competence in a range of upholstery techniques and will gain enhanced confidence in using fabric, leather and other upholstery materials. Projects and ideas will be discussed with the guidance of your tutor on the first night and you will be required to bring your own upholstery projects to the class. It is recommended that several smaller projects are brought to the class.

There are no formal entry requirements.
The course is suitable for all levels of ability and even experienced upholsterers would benefit from this course.
