Course description:
Safe use of pesticides using a hand held applicator (Knapsack)

The teaching and testing will cover the following:
- Legislation
- Interpretation of pesticide labels and literature
- Personal safety
- Storing pesticides
- Disposal of pesticides
- Dealing with contamination
- Keeping records
- Environmental factors
- Water protection

Reference will also be made to the range of legislation and codes of practices to ensure the safety of operators, general public and the environment.
