Course description:
The course is largely practically based and will include:
Routine maintenance checks
Safe operation of the quad bike
Driving techniques in forward and reverse gears
Driving on slopes - up, down and traverse
Use of trailers and attachments
Who is the course for?
The course is intended for those who are required to use a quad bike as part of their routine work in farm, estate / forestry or countryside ranger duties. It is particularly useful for anyone using trailers, working on Forestry Commission land or undertaking contract work.
- Course numbers are kept to a maximum of six.
- Course participants will each use a bike. These may be hired on request or you can bring your own with you.
