Course of the Week

   Exploring Science

Do you have an interest in science?

Find out more about what’s causing global warming, how drugs work and how the sun provides energy for life on earth through the Open University in Scotland’s Exploring Science course.

It explores a range of topics including the origin of life, earthquakes and volcanoes, genetics, evolution, food and drugs and the structure of the atom.

The course begins in January and provides the foundation for studying science and could be the first step towards progressing to studying science at a higher level.

To find out more about this course or other science courses in your area go to the Course Search page.
